These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Unique Trip Mada’s services, accessible at uniquetripmada.com. By booking a trip with us or using our website, you accept these terms and conditions in full. Please do not continue to use Unique Trip Mada’s services if you do not accept all the terms and conditions stated below.
1. Services offered
Unique Trip Mada provides guided tours, travel planning, and other tourism-related services in Madagascar. Detailed descriptions of our services are available on our website or by contacting our customer service team directly.
2. Booking and payments
Reservations
All tours require a confirmed reservation, which can be made through our website, via email, or by telephone.
Deposits
A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. The deposit amount will be specified during the booking process.
Final payment
The balance of the tour price must be paid no later than 30 days prior to the start of services, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Travel confirmation conditions
- 50% of the pro forma invoice must be paid to confirm the trip.
- The remaining 50% is to be paid one month before the arrival date.
3. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations by the client
If you decide to cancel your booking, cancellation fees will apply. Cancellations must be confirmed in writing to be effective.
Cancellation conditions
- More than 60 days before departure: 50% of the deposit is refundable.
- 60 to 31 days before departure: 40% of the deposit is refundable.
- 30 to 14 days before departure: 75% of the total amount is refundable.
- 13 to 7 days before departure: 65% of the total amount is refundable.
- Less than 7 days before departure: 60% of the total amount is refundable.
Postponement option
In the event of a last-minute impediment, your trip may be postponed to a later date, subject to availability and conditions.
Cancellations by Unique Trip Mada
We reserve the right to cancel any tour due to insufficient enrollment or unforeseen logistical issues. In such cases, all payments received will be fully refunded.
4. Travel insurance
Travel insurance is highly recommended. It should cover personal injury, medical expenses, loss of belongings, and travel cancellations.
5. Liability
Unique Trip Mada cannot be held responsible for personal injuries, illnesses, damages, losses, or additional expenses resulting from events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, weather conditions, war, civil unrest, or changes in local regulations.
6. Health and safety
Clients must follow all health and safety instructions provided by Unique Trip Mada staff during the trip. Failure to do so may result in termination of tour services without any refund.
7. Passports, visas, and legal requirements
Clients are responsible for ensuring that they have valid passports, visas, and any necessary permits or certificates for their entire journey. Advice provided by Unique Trip Mada regarding visas, vaccinations, climate, clothing, and luggage is advisory only.
8. Changes to terms
Unique Trip Mada reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon being posted on our website. It is the client’s responsibility to review the terms regularly.
9. Governing law
These terms and conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Madagascar.
